For each service, the upload process can take some time. But once you go through it, the result is a safe backup of Your music collection that you can access from any PC or Mac and mobile devices from anywhere you have an Internet connection.
I've tested all three new services. I love all of them, but they each have their drawbacks. Your Favorites will depend a lot on what devices You own.
As might be expected, Apple iTunes game is the best choice for owners of Apple's handheld devices including the iPhone. It costs about $ 25 per year and allows users to store up to 25,000 songs on Apple's servers.
The advantages of the match is that it requires much less bandwidth and time than uploading Your entire collection. In my case, Apple is able to match all but about 500 songs my 8800. The total process takes about one and a half days, but it may have been much shorter on a computer that is newer than my 6 year old Mac.
